The quad bike was one of the new vehicles Lara could during her adventures to find the four shards of a meteorite that struck Antarctica millions of years ago and that hold mysterious powers...
First of all, there was the racing quad from the trainings level at Lara's humble abode (her enormous mansion):
If you were able to find the Racetrack Key, you would find that Lara had demolished the Georgian garden maze, and converted it into a racetrack to try out her new toy...
The first time you got to ride the quad bike in the game itself, was in the River Ganges level. This quad bike had a green, jungle camouflage pattern, but it was still hard to miss at the very beginning of the level... ;o)
Which was a good thing, because you needed it to get over the Ganges river...
The third quad bike Lara got to ride in Tomb Raider 3, could be found near the end of the Nevada level, this time in brown / tan desert camouflage. This time, you needed it to jump the electrified fence of a top-secret, high-security compound...
When Lara later hears of a fifth meteorite artifact back in England, her search takes her to the construction site of the Channel Tunnel in Dover, where she "borrows" a Sophia Leigh Incorporation (SLINC) quad bike to jump over a speeding Channel Tunnel train...!
For the papercraft quad bikes, I also made a blank version, so you can make your own zebra-stripes or disco fever camouflage pattern quad bike, or whatever you want. ;o)
