Mazinger Z is a Japanese anime series about the giant robot Mazinger Z, who was constructed to fight the evil Mechanical Beasts of Dr. Hell.
Dr. Hell was part of an archeological team that discovered the prototypes of giant, steel titans that were onced used by an ancient pre-grecian civilation to protect their island of Bardos against invaders.
